In late July 2004, God led Pastor Efrem McDuffie and First Lady Rosalyn Brunswick-McDuffie to begin the Palace of Praise Church. The first service was held at 115 West Hamilton with only 7 members in attendance. In less than one year, God has blessed the church to grow to have more than 300 members and an additional location at 121 Lou Lane in Spring, Texas.

The purpose of this congregation is to give visible form that faith and fellowship to which God has called His people. We acknowledge ourselves to be a local manifestation of the universal church through which Jesus Christ continues to minister to the world by His Holy Spirit. We shall seek to fulfill this calling through corporate worship services, through a program of Christian nurture by which our members may be built up in their faith and love, through proclamation of the Gospel by word and deed, and through ministering to human needs in the name of Christ. This Church accepts the Scriptures of the Old Testament as the inspired record of God’s revelatory actions in human history and as the authoritative basis for its doctrine and practice.

Matthew 28:19-20 "Go ye therfore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observ all things whatsoever I have commeanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."

The Vision

The Vision of the Palace of Praise Church is to equip God's people with knowledge and power through His Word so that they may go out and posess the land that He has promised us.

The Mission

Our primary mission is to change the equality of individual lives through spirit filled, bible based programs for the lost, the underserved, the homeless, ex-offenders and abused and neglected children. Programs will include assistance in education, affordable housing and gainful employment.

Our Confession

Our confession, "Thank you Lord for sending souls from the North, South, East and West and from the Nations to the Palace of Praise. We promise to teach them your Word and your Way.
